How to render on iRender’s farm?

Step 1: Register to create a new account and activate it to get started with 100 free credits.
Step 2: App free downloaded: you can download the application free.

IRender supports all major 3D software applications and render plugins. You can check a detailed list here.

Step 3: Submit your project:

Sign in with your account and upload your project to IRender desktop app. IRender Cloud automatically uploads exactly what it needs to render.

Step 4: Managing your render jobs:

With a clear interface, you’re able to monitor your cloud rendering jobs. You can start, pause, edit (assets & settings) and cancel all jobs at any time.

Our convenient design allows you to easily manage and control your jobs easily.

Step 5: automatic download

Download the results with just one click. Each completed frame will automatically be downloaded to the folder chosen by you in advance.

How many points will I receive for completing registration?

You can receive up to 150 free credits:
After completing registration 100 credits will be charged into your account, earning more 20 credits as soon as perfecting profile.

Especially, when you share the referral link to whoever needs render support, you’ll

Can I convert rendering points/ credits into money?

The answer is NO. You can only spend credits for render jobs on IRender farm.

How can I estimate the cost of the project?

Our render farm will charge based on how many GHz-hour you used in fact, with the based price is only $0.004 / GHz-hour.

What do you offer?

We are a render farm, we provide you with the computing power to render your projects in the shortest possible time and the default storage up to 200GB, you can easily extend this storage capacity if needed.

What should I do when a scene fails to render?

How can I pay?

You can pay using Paypal which integrates on iRender’s app & receive IR points on the app automatically. If it is not possible for you, we also accept bank wire transfers and Western Union payments as an alternative payment method.

What is Irender’s technical specifications?

Our farm has 1000 Dual XEON servers 16-cores and 24-cores machines, which have 3.0 GHz speed, and 32 Gb to 128Gb of memory.

The rendering node of IRender farm has 20 physical cores and free hyper-threading available. It is equipped with 64GB memory by default and 256GB memory at most.

What do the numbers on the taskbar mean?

From left to right, they refer to the status of the frames as rendering, completed, error.
– The rendering tab refers to the rendering. Generally, you may click the job name to see the detailed job and edit if needed. Refresh it for each retry.
– The completed tab contains finished jobs. Click to download & see the results in the output path chosen by you in advance.
– Error tab refers to the failed jobs. Normally, you may right click the tasks to retry the failed frame for 3-5 times. Please contact the customer service if it still fails.

How to recharge my account?

1. There are 2 ways to recharge an account:
– Click on the avatar icon in the left corner of the app and press “recharges” to enter the recharge page.
– Click the icon “Payment” to enter the recharge page.
2. In the case of cash recharge, input the amount to be recharged and then click “Pay with Paypal”.

3.  In the case of coupon recharge, input the coupon code and then click “Recharge”.

1. Install Irender application software on your computer

  1. Open Irender app by double click or right click, then open the icon “Irender – Happy rendering” with logo IRENDER to open the desktop app.
  2.  Account
    The client supports language English.
    Register for an account and login the app to start rendering.

3. Job management

3.1. Adjust Setting & Upload job

Simply press “Add task” then select correct file type (.max, sketchup, blender….) from a project path (Note: this project path contains all the materials used for the Max file) to create a job.

Adjust the settings corresponding to the file and click “Submit” to start uploading.

Here are some tips for users:

  • Job name: change the job name to control all your jobs well.
  • Output folder: choose a place to save outputs.
  • Warning: corresponding prompt will appear in case of any error or warning thereof.

Press the button “pause” or “cancel” during the uploading process to make changes in settings if you want.

3.2. Render job

The rendering is automatically started upon the completion of submission, and hence the submission job is successful.

3.3. Download job

A finished job will be in “Completed” page.

Click at icon   and download to the folder chosen by you in advance.

To update the latest version software, please click the avatar, then choose Settings ð About.

Check the available updated version in this taskbar, press the button Check for update.

If the current version is the newest, there will appear a notification box as below

As soon as feature updates are released to the public, Irender application quickly gets to work on improving it by fixing bugs, releasing security patches, and occasionally adding new features.

5. Warning

5.1. Warning of unsupported software

Phenomenon: warning “… version is not supported”
Solutions: Please check iRender supported softwares here.
In case the app warns about software version, there are 2 options to solve
– Option 1: open the file and save in proper one.
– Option 2: ignore the warning and continue to render cause Irender always supports the latest version of software, but results might not meet your expectation.

5.2. Warning of unsupported render engine

Phenomenon: warning “Renderer is not supported”
Solutions: the newest versions of renderers always supports for older ones, so you can ignore the warning and continue rendering.

5.3. Warning of asset missing

Phenomenon: warning “Your project is missing asset”
Solutions: open the scene path, find and collect the missing materials, then repackage your files (see how to package file here).
